"I love you and want for you all things that make you happiest; and I guess you, not I, are the one who knows best what those things are."

About Me

I'm a twenty-something Catholic wife and stay-at-home-mother to two precious boys.  In my life BC (before children) I traveled extensively through Europe during a semester abroad in Rome where I met my now-husband.  I learned more about myself and my faith in those 5 months abroad than I did in the remaining 3 1/2 years of college.  I also earned my masters degree in College Student Personnel which is a fancy way of saying that I actually got a degree studying the intricacies of college-aged students.  My professional life once consisted of event planning for a university but now includes such titillating activities as driving trains around the living room, doing a never-ending pile of laundry, convincing a toddler that it's nice to share with his younger brother, cooking (hopefully) well-balanced meals and surviving having two boys in diapers!  My experiences at the University of Dallas, in Rome, and in grad school have molded me into the person, professional, and mom that I am today....and I wouldn't change a thing!  It's a long way from where I thought I'd be, but I can't imagine traveling any other road!
